Hi Participants-
Just checking in... how are your submissions coming along? Remember that the deadline is tonight at 5pm PST.
Created by Solveig Sieberts sieberts It is fine to include supplemental information as a file, but a wiki writeup is required. Is it fine to save writeup as an attachment within the 'Wiki' tab of the project page and code in a separate folder with the 'Files' tab? @Neuron-
We won't start reviewing write-ups/code until Monday morning, so please be sure your write-ups and code are complete at that time. As far as I'm aware there is no official deadline for write-ups. You will be able to modify/clean up your code and write-up after the deadline, but it's a bit of a gamble. We review the write-ups over the course of a few weeks after the challenge deadline has passed but there's no telling whether we will review your write-up 2 days or 2 weeks from now.
@sieberts can you add to or correct my response?
Is the code and writeup due tonight? Thanks :-) @Neuron -
Scores for submissions will be shared in a few weeks after we've had time to validate them.
Solly My mistake. Participants aren't able to see their own score at the above link. Only the status of their submission. Only the two most recent, successfully-scored submissions are considered for prizes, so submit wisely! Again a naive question, I received an email that "Your submission "XXX to the PDBiomarkerChallenge - LDopa Action Tremor - subchallenge 2.1 has been scored:", but how can I see my score? Thanks. --Only you can see your own score.-- Participants aren't able to see scores - only the status of their submission (one of RECEIVED, INVALID, VALIDATED, and SCORED). Thanks Phil. I can see that my submission got scored. Is the score shared with the participants? Yep. If your submission is successfully scored (scoring happens in roughly 10 minute intervals) you will get an email saying so. Also if your submission fails to pass validation you will get an email listing the things you need to fix. You can track the status of your submissions here: https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn8717496/wiki/492463 Thanks a lot. I made my submission. Am I going to get a confirmation email if my submission went through? This might be a naive question, is it possible to compare my performance w.r.t. others?
In the cases where all the values (except timestamps and column headers) are null, that dataFileHandleId won't be included in the submission template. But if a record has only partial values - some numeric, some NaN - it will still be included. It's best to just make sure that you are able to get numeric features calculated for everything in the submission templates (syn11315917). Numeric values are required for all records in the submission templates. Please be sure you include all records in those files (as appropriate per subchallenge) and do not include any NAs or missing values. How should I deal with subjects with missing data(say NA values)? Should I exclude those subject from the feature list of should they have NA or some other values? terrible ............ still having trouble beating baseline......... doing last minute rescue right now.....
