Hi,
your evaluation will be by subject? or by task? i.e. should we or would you combine all the features for the different task per subchallenge per subject per session?
we wonder if different tasks can have different weights?
thanks
Created by Raquel Norel rnorel @phil thanks Phil. I understand that the three phenotype will be tested separately. My question was features for different tasks within one group and Solly answered me. It seems the features will be run all together for different tasks. @ming666 Are you asking whether we calculate the predicted scores from your features for all three phenotypes at once? No, when we open up submissions we will have a separate submission queue for each phenotype. So you can submit features that are most relevant for predicting the tremor score to the tremor submission queue -- and likewise for dyskinesia and bradykinesia. We have subselected tasks that are appropriate for each phenotype, and excluded those that are inappropriate. All tasks are modeled together and no further weighting is performed in the scoring algorithm. @sieberts Hi Solly, I was checking the scoring algorithm, which built classifier based on same features within a phenotype ('tremor', 'brad...) and the classifier doesn't distinguish between tasks within a same phenotype. Certainly some feature may be more important for predicting the score observed during one task than the other. Im wondering if the scoring algorithm will be run altogether for all the task or separately? If the weight you mentioned is not in the scoring algorithm, we can submit already-weighted features right? Is the scoring algorithm ready yet? Since each task performed has an associated score, each is considered a separate event, and will not be combined. We are still working out the scoring algorithm for these data, and will release the full details when they are fixed. Are you suggesting that you think the different tasks should have different weights? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
