I saw that there are two sub-challenges for this challenge, so I come to the forum here to discuss a little about my problem for the sub-challenge, mPower data challenge. I am a validated user, and I am eligible to download other data, except the MDS-UPDRS Survey, I sent my request for approval, and I received an email with a link to MDS Rating Scale Permissions Request Form and a Synapse Link Token, I opened the link and filled the form, pasted my statement of use and Token into the blank, but I am a little confused about the lower content of the form, something about the funding information, etc. So I am curious that does the request for the MDS-UPDRS Survey data cost money? Or can I get the data only by submitting the form? Can anyone explain? Much appreciation!

As I said, the training data have previously been released through the mPower Portal. The challenge focuses only on the walking test data, so we have not released other activity data through the Challenge.

ok, just to confirm, so the data used for challenge is a subset of what I could get form mpower, I mean the other tables like updrs and voice. So it is the same cohort of people. thanks
@rnorel, the training data have been previously released through the mPower portal, however we have curated this set to remove some incomplete data. @sheryl_zh, we will release the details of our scoring algorithm once it has been finalized. For now I can tell you that the predicted outcome is Parkinson's Diagnosis (professional-diagnosis) in the training data table.
@sieberts Thank you! I am going to explore these data, but I am wondering how to evaluate our machine learning algorithm? I am not clear that what should be my label, is there any feature that I can make use of to evaluate my experiment performance? Could you please clarify more to me? Thank you.
Hi, is the cohort for the data used in DREAM challenge the same as in the other tables? for example with MDS-UPDRS Survey data or the audio data? all from same cohort? using same IDs? thanks
I'm not sure I fully understand your question @sheryl_zh. I can tell you that the currently released data are the training data for Subchallenge 1, and derive from the mPower study. There will be additional test data released at a future date (from additional individuals and walking tasks), as well as the Subchallenge 2 data.
btw,@sieberts Could you please tell me if there are only two files related to this challenge, which means the mPower data(sub-challenge of this challenge) files are not related to this challenge? Much Appreciation!

Xi- I don't believe requesting those data cost money, however we are not providing them through this challenge. I suggest asking your question on the mPower Researcher Portal that are hosting those data. There are also contact emails provided on that website to contact with questions or problems. Solly
