Hello, and thank you for organising this challenge. I have two questions about the Incentives that I could not resolve from the wiki pages. **1. The "better than random" threshold.** The Incentives page states that participants whose workflow performs better than random selection in the Blind test and Active learning phases will be invited as co-authors. The Evaluation page lists the ranking criteria (number of chemically distinct hit series among the 50 selected molecules, then number of hits, then precision-recall AUC and ROC-AUC over the full library) but does not define the random baseline numerically. Could you clarify how "better than random" is determined? For example, is it a fixed number of hits or hit series among the 50 selections, a threshold on ROC-AUC or PR-AUC, or a comparison against a random-draw baseline computed by the organisers? **2. Authorship.** The Incentives page says qualifying participants "will be invited as co-authors on an article to be published in a scientific Journal". The DREAM Challenges Official Rules (Rule 9) state that named publication authorship is for top-performing teams, and that other participants in good standing are added as members of the DREAM Challenge Consortium, listed in PubMed as Collaborators. Could you clarify which applies here for participants who beat the random baseline but do not finish in the top group? As a minor note, the Tasks page still gives the validation split window as "June 15 to September 15", while the Timeline page records the Blind test extension to September 30. The Tasks page may need updating. Thank you.

Dear @ArnavAgarwal, comparison to random selection is performed via statistical analysis on the number of identified chemical series (see the previous challenge [overview paper](https://chemrxiv.org/doi/full/10.26434/chemrxiv.15004205/v2) for more information). For each submission there is an associated p-value, which is used to determine the likelihood that the result was obtained by chance. All members of better than random teams participating in the challenge will be added to the author list, the exact format will depend on the journal specifications for large lists of authors. Thank you for finding the not updated deadline. Luca
