Hello BraTS-METS Organizing Team, My name is Zachary Po, and I am a student researcher in Stanford AIMI. I am conducting a noncommercial academic research project on the reliability of brain-metastasis segmentation models. My project investigates which lesion and imaging characteristics—such as lesion size, contrast, morphology, anatomical location, and metastatic burden—are associated with segmentation failures. I also plan to evaluate whether model uncertainty can identify unreliable predictions that should be referred for additional review. I would like to request access to the publicly releasable, labeled BraTS-METS training data, including the MRI volumes and corresponding segmentation masks. I do not need private test data or unreleased validation ground-truth labels. The former BraTS 2023 download page states that the data have been moved or archived. The current BraTS 2026 Task 1 page indicates that access is limited to registered participants, but the challenge is now closed. Could you please grant research access to the labeled training data or direct me to the current application process? The data would be used exclusively for educational, noncommercial research. I will comply with all applicable data-use terms and properly cite the dataset and BraTS-METS publications in any resulting report, presentation, or manuscript. Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, Zachary Po Stanford AIMI Noncommercial student research project

Hello BraTS-METS Organizing Team, I am an undergraduate Integrated Dual Degree student in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), India. I am conducting academic research on brain tumor segmentation and would like to use the labeled BraTS-METS training dataset to develop and evaluate a 3D U-Net baseline using five-fold cross-validation. My planned evaluation metrics are Dice Score, HD95, and IoU. I have created a Synapse account but have been unable to access the training data because the challenge is closed and access is restricted to registered participants. Could you please let me know whether the labeled training dataset can be made available for noncommercial academic research, and what application or approval process I should follow? I do not require private test data or unreleased validation labels. I am willing to comply with the applicable data-use terms and provide my faculty supervisor's details if required. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Pritha Ghosal RGIPT, India
