My name is Almira Haider, and I am an undergraduate Computer Science student at Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan, currently working on my final year research project. I am writing to ask about access to the BraTS 2026 Generalizability Across Tumors (BraTS-GoAT, Task 3) dataset. My project studies two questions on this task: how well segmentation models generalize across the different tumor populations, and how robust they are when MRI modalities (specifically T1c and T2-FLAIR) are missing, including whether the resulting errors carry through into tumor volume measurements. I want to be upfront that I do not intend to make any submission to the challenge or its leaderboard. I would use the data only for my research and the paper that comes from it. Because the 2026 edition is the most recent data, it is the right fit for this work, and my project timeline is fairly tight. I would therefore be very grateful if there is any way to obtain the dataset earlier than the general release. I fully understand if that is not possible. I am happy to sign any data use agreement, to cite the appropriate BraTS publications, and to avoid any redistribution of the data. Thank you very much for your time, and for organizing BraTS.
