Hello BraTS-METS 2026 organizers, I am a final-year Computer Engineering student working on my bachelor thesis on MRI-based brain tumor classification. For my thesis, I am using BraTS datasets to classify glioma, meningioma, and brain metastases. I currently have access to the BraTS 2023 glioma and meningioma datasets, but I was unable to obtain access to the older BraTS-METS 2023/2024 datasets, as they are no longer available to new users through Synapse. I would therefore like to ask whether it is possible to obtain post-challenge academic access to the labeled BraTS-METS 2026 Batch 1 training data. The dataset would be used solely for my individual bachelor thesis work at university and for non-commercial academic purposes. I am not currently planning to use the data for publication or any commercial project. If post-challenge access cannot currently be granted, could you please let me know whether there is an expected timeline or repository for the public release of the labeled BraTS-METS data? If access to the 2026 dataset is not possible, I would also be very grateful if you could let me know whether academic access to the BraTS-METS 2023 training dataset could still be granted for bachelor thesis research. I would be happy to complete any required data-use agreement and provide information about my university, supervisor, and thesis if needed. Thank you very much for your time and help.
