Hello, I would like to ask whether there is any issue or restriction regarding **changing my team name** during the challenge. I have already completed the challenge registration process, gone through all required steps, and submitted some prediction files under the current team name. I would like to know if changing the team name at this stage could cause any complications or affect the validity of my participation or previous submissions. Additionally, two more members will be contributing to my team. Do they need to complete any specific steps, such as submitting the data access request form or any other required forms, in order for their participation to be officially valid? Or is it sufficient for them to have Synapse accounts and be added to my team? Finally, I would like to confirm whether all the steps and submissions I have completed so far as the team owner will also remain valid for the new members once they are added to the team. Also, is there anything else I should be aware of regarding either changing the team name or adding new team members? For example, are there any rules, deadlines, eligibility requirements, or procedures that could affect our participation? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello @vchung , Thank you for your help. The additional members will only be advising me, they will not access, handle, or manipulate the data. In this case, is it enough for them to be part of my team, or do they also need to be added to the BraTS 2026 Participants group? I only invited their accounts to join my registered challenge team, Team_hen. Is this the correct procedure?
Hi @Henrique_Zan , Great questions! I can answer from the perspective of the Synapse platform. You can certainly update your team name without any issues. Submissions are linked to team IDs rather than team names, so making a name change will not disrupt anything in the leaderboards. Regarding new teammates: the requirement to register for the challenge depends on whether they will work with the data or not. Because the challenge data is not publicly available, Synapse rules strictly prohibit sharing it directly. Therefore, any teammate who needs access to the data to work on the challenge must formally register and request data access individually. If a teammate will never look at or handle the data in any way, they do not need to take any further action than joining your team. However, anyone who is actively working with the data, uploading predictions, or making submissions on behalf of the team must complete challenge registration, as well as become Synapse Certified Users.
