Hi MRIxFields2026 organizers, Thanks for organizing this challenge. I have a quick question about the sequence/protocol details. Are detailed acquisition parameters available for each field strength and modality, such as TR, TE, TI, flip angle, voxel size, slice thickness, FOV, matrix size, bandwidth, echo train length, acceleration factor, and reconstruction/preprocessing settings? Also, are the protocols fixed within each field strength/modality, or do they vary across subjects or cohorts? This would be very helpful for understanding the field-strength, scanner, and protocol-related differences in the dataset. Thank you!

Thanks for your reply. I believe that in realistic retrospective MRI scenarios, certain parameters function as known variables; perhaps it would be worth considering making a subset of them available.
Hi, Thank you for your question. At this stage, we do not plan to release the full acquisition parameters for each field strength and modality. The challenge will be based on the provided image data, field-strength labels, modality information, and standardized task definitions. We do not expect detailed protocol parameters to be necessary for completing the three tasks or for ensuring fair evaluation. Some protocol variability may exist across field strengths, scanners, or cohorts, and this is part of the realistic cross-field heterogeneity that the challenge aims to evaluate.
