Dear all,
I have a question about the extra segmentation labels, apologies if this seems obvious, but I’m a bit confused. Why are there labels for LF Basal Ganglia and LF Hippocampi? Aren’t these the labels we’re trying to predict?
Thank you.
Created by Parisa Shirali parisash Hi @parisash,
Thanks for your question. The LISA dataset comes from paired low-field and high-field images of the same subjects.
For Task 2a (Hippocampus) and Task 2b (Basal Ganglia) files, the labels were created from the high-field images and registered to the matching low-field images. We then edited these labels based on the low-field images and released them as extra labels. You can use what you would like.
For the evaluation and final ranking, we will use labels from the high-field images registered to the low-field ones. This is why we released LF Basal Ganglia and LF Hippocampi as additional labels.
