Dear organizers,
Thank you for providing this valuable dataset. I noticed that a new file named Extra_PseudoLiver.zip has been added to the dataset. I would like to confirm whether the liver masks included in this file are allowed to be used during the training phase.
From my observations, incorporating these liver labels significantly improves lesion segmentation accuracy. Could you please clarify whether we are permitted to use this additional data for training?
Thank you very much in advance!
Created by xinyan fang house Thanks for your reply :) Thank you for your message and for your interest in the challenge.
Yes, the liver masks in Extra_PseudoLiver.zip may be used for training purposes only, such as providing anatomical context to improve lesion segmentation.
Please make sure that your submission does not include or output liver masks, as liver segmentation is not part of the official evaluation. These liver annotations were generated using publicly available models—either a fine-tuned Segment Anything model, nnU-Net trained on LiTS, or TotalSegmentator.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Best wishes,
