After multiple submissions as an individual, I have created a team in which I want to submit with multiple other people. But now, when submitting as a Team I am getting an error, that the submission is not possible, since my user has a conflicting submission, and there are no eligible contributors on the team. Previously I was told that the team creation could be done at any time, so I am wondering if this is a mistake on my side and if I should change something? Thank you for your help in advance!

Since this is yet a validation phase, that doesn’t count to final results (as far as I understand), I would like to then change the current state and be able to submit as a part of a team, if this would be possible. Dear @mackostya, Team creation can be done at any time; however, if you have already made individual submissions you cannot thereafter submit as part of a team. This restriction is enforced by Synapse to prevent misuse of the system (e.g., making two submissions as an individual and then two more under a team). This policy is stated on the How to Participate page (https://www.synapse.org/Synapse:syn65670170/wiki/631793) under Step 3. Prepare and Make a Submission: "Please note that when you make your first submission, you will be asked whether you will submit as an individual or as part of a submission team. This option cannot be changed once you make your selection. Once you have submitted as an individual, you cannot thereafter submit as part of a team. Once you submit as a part of a team, you cannot thereafter submit as an individual." If you would like to continue as part of a team, your previously accepted individual submissions must be invalidated. This can be done by invalidating your previous submissions. Once that is complete, your account will be eligible to submit under the team. Please let us know if you would like to proceed with invalidating all your previous submissions.
