Hi everyone,
I'm participating in the Target 35 Drug Discovery Challenge and facing limitations with downloading the dataset due to local storage and bandwidth restrictions.
I wanted to ask:
Is there any way to access the competition data directly from Kaggle notebooks or Google Colab (e.g., via a direct link, API, or mounted drive) without downloading it manually to a local machine?
This would help a lot for those of us working in cloud environments or with limited devices.
If anyone has managed to stream or load the data online directly into a notebook, please share your approach or any suggestions!
Thanks in advance 🙏
Created by Abdelrahman Alkahwaji Alkahwaji Hi,
I understand how frustrating that can be.
Fortunately, the training data is under 2GB, so downloading and uploading shouldn't take too long. Maybe give it another try.
That said, we're also working on a Python package to make accessing the data easier, especially for Colab users. It should be ready next week, and I’ll let you know as soon as it's available.
Hope you're able to sort it out soon!
good luck with the challenge!
