Dear @ULFEnCMICCAI2025Participants, First and foremost, thank you to all teams for your contributions to the ULF-EnC Challenge, and congratulations once again to the winning teams! A special thanks also to our reviewers. **Camera-Ready Papers** * All accepted camera-ready papers will be published in the MICCAI 2025 Challenge Proceedings. * We now look forward to receiving the final camera-ready submissions from the accepted papers. **Summary Paper** * The organising team will be preparing a summary paper for the challenge. Contributions from accepted and selected papers will form the basis of this joint publication. **Registration & Attendance** * As per MICCAI policy, registration is mandatory for all accepted papers (Challenge track only). * Top winning teams must attend in person at MICCAI 2025 in Korea. Failure to attend will forfeit their winning position, and the next team in line will be considered. **Withdrawal Policy** * Teams wishing to withdraw their submission must contact the organisers (in line with the DUA). * Withdrawn will not: 1. Be considered in the final ranking 2. Appear in the MICCAI proceedings 3. Be included in the joint publication 4. Retain access to the dataset (access will be revoked immediately) We thank you once again for your dedication and participation, and we look forward to seeing you in Korea at MICCAI 2025! With best regards, The ULF-EnC 2025 Organising Team

Hi @Haowen_Pang, thanks. Can you try again, please?
Hi @XiaoyuBai, if you are not attending the event in person, you do not need to submit the poster as this is a satellite event.
Hi @KhTohidulIslam, When I tried to upload the LaTeX source files as a .zip archive, the system displayed the following error: File 'ULF_EnC2025_ULF_MRI_Enhancement_via_CDM.zip' has type 'zip' which is not accepted. We accept 'doc, docx, pdf' only. Could you please advise how I should submit the LaTeX source code? Should I upload only the compiled PDF, or is there an alternative way to provide the .zip source package within CMT? Thank you very much for your guidance. Haowen
Hi, @KhTohidulIslam, but our acceptance email said that our work has been accepted as a poster presentation. I just want to make a final confirmation, we really don’t need to submit a poster? Thank you.
Hi @Adversary, thanks for your message. I assume that will be okay.
Hi @XiaoyuBai, yes, you do not have to submit the poster.
Hi @KhTohidulIslam , Do we get an extra half page for our camera ready version as is common for the camera-ready version of MICCAI papers, so that the final length can be 8.5 pages excluding references? This would make it easier to include the Acknowledgement section and reviewer feedback.
Hi, @KhTohidulIslam, so we don’t need to submit a poster?
Hi @XiaoyuBai, yes, the information is correct.
Hi, @sanu, I would like to confirm the procedure for poster submission. According to the MICCAI poster guidelines, posters should be submitted via the speaker portal. However, when I attempted to follow the instructions, I found that I did not have submission access. After contacting the official MICCAI support, I was informed that “The speaker portal and e-posters are for the main MICCAI conference and not the satellite events, so don't worry as you don't have to upload anything.” Best
Thank you for providing that information and getting back to us so quickly, much appreciated. James
Dear, @KhTohidulIslam, Thank you for your efforts in organizing this challenge. I noticed that the CMT system indicates: "You can upload from 1 to 3 files. Maximum file size is 3 Mb. We accept doc, docx, pdf formats." I would like to confirm that do we need to provide the LaTeX source files? Is a signed License to Publish form required? In addition, I noticed that the Participation Policies-Publication Policy mentions that "All contributing teams will be included as co-authors in the challenge paper." Does this mean that all teams that complete the challenge will be included as co-authors in the challenge report paper? If so, is there a limit on the maximum number of co-authors that each team can nominate? Thank you very much. Best regards, Haowen
Hi @Adversary, @jgro4702525, Thank you for your message. Kindly refer to the Leaderboard Submission ID column, where we have listed the ID of the highest-scoring submission used for the ranking. Best regards, The ULF-EnC 2025 Organising Team
I too would like to know what container was used for our final score. There's no rush on our end, we are wanting to develop our method into a longer publication (of course respecting embargo periods and data agreements). Could you also please elaborate on the rankings (especially the three teams who got an identical score), do we take this to mean joint 5th place? Cheers, James
Hi @KhTohidulIslam, Can you tell us which of the two submissions we were allowed to submit has led to higher scores? This way we can prepare the presentation accordingly. Best regards, Nikolas
Hi, I would like to ask whether it would be possible to open an additional leaderboard that follows the original evaluation formula (without PSNR normalization). We do not expect or require any prizes from this; it would simply serve as recognition of the work we and other participants have put in over the past few months. Best,
Hi David, Thank you for your message. The guidelines you shared apply to the MICCAI main conference. Since our entries fall under the MICCAI Challenges category, we have a dedicated two-hour session and therefore set our own presentation requirements. In short, your interpretation is correct with a few additional considerations. Specifically: * Teams selected for awards are required to give an oral presentation and do not need to be included in the poster presentation. * All other teams are expected to present a poster. In cases where a team cannot attend in person (e.g., due to visa issues), they may arrange for a colleague or collaborator who is already attending MICCAI to present on their behalf. Best regards, Tohid
Hi James and Tohid, To clarify, for those that finished outside the top 3, MICCAI policies state: "All accepted papers must be presented as a poster by an author of the paper at MICCAI 2025. A selected number of accepted papers will be chosen for oral presentations in addition to their poster presentations. Papers chosen for oral presentations will be contacted in the summer. The program committee reserves the right to retract an accepted paper from the proceedings if the authors did not present their paper in person. Where there are genuine extenuating circumstances involved, the author team should reach out to conference organizers as soon as possible." https://conferences.miccai.org/2025/en/CAMERA-READY-SUBMISSION-GUIDELINES.html Hence, my interpretation is that in-person attendance is required for all teams with accepted papers, regardless of ranking, in order for their work to appear in the MICCAI proceedings. This would apply to all poster presenters, not just the teams selected for awards. @KhTohidulIslam - please correct me if this is not the case. Best, David
Hi James, For all accepted papers, we are now waiting for the camera-ready submission. Teams that did not score in the top 3 will have poster presentations, following the MICCAI poster guidelines. Regarding the authorship of a joint publication, we will have a separate communication with the authors about the selection of their papers. Those selections are not limited to the top 3.
Good afternoon, Thank you for the information regarding next steps. Could you please elaborate on next steps for teams who did not score in the top 3 in regards to MICCAI 2025? Could you also confirm the authorship of joint publication, will every team who scored on the leaderboard (and not withdraw) be included as co-authors? Best, James
