Hi!
I was wondering if the following is a bug or a feature:
Example:
I am looking up the RATA for the components of the mixture AA007.
The components' ids are 244 and 526 based on the stimulus definition file.
The description of 244 is cid=5362720 and dilution=0.015, pg
However, in the task2_single_rata file, rows with matching cid have different dilution: 0.04 and 0.008, with no mention of a solvent.
Should we not assume that single rata is given for all components in the training?
Created by khuetran Hi! This is actually not a bug, but a feature of the dataset design.
In TASK2, the RATA data for single molecules was not always collected at the exact same concentration or solvent as in the mixtures. That’s one of the main motivations behind TASK1, which focuses on modeling perceptual changes due to variations in concentration and solvent.
Additionally, I’ve explained several of these inconsistencies in the “Data Correction & Update Notes” thread. For single molecule entries in the task2_single_rata file that lack solvent information, you can usually find the corresponding details in the TASK1_Stimulus_definition file.
