Hello, We noticed there were not any submissions or results for challenge 8 - Synthesis Missing MRI, where can we find information on how to submit? Additionally, the provided validation set contains all modalities, which should we omit and generate? In the past a .csv was provided. Thank you, -Tim

Hi Tim @tsereda, For local development or the validation leaderboard (which we are currently setting up and will be available soon), you're free to use nnU-Net for segmentation purposes. However, for the test phase, we will use the best-performing algorithms from previous BraTS segmentation challenges. Sorry, the instructions were not up to date — we will update them soon. These algorithms are open for use and more accessible than FeTS. While FeTS was used last year for glioma segmentation, this year’s task involves three types of tumors, each requiring different segmentation algorithms. Best, Hongwei (Bran)
Thank you for your response @branhongweili ! I am a little confused as to which model to use to segment. The tutorial you linked suggests https://github.com/BrainLesion/BraTS, but the challenge submission instructions say to use FeTS https://www.synapse.org/Synapse:syn64153130/wiki/632674. And nnUNet would not be appropriate this time around correct? Best Regards, Tim 7/21/2025
Hi Tim @tsereda, This year, we’ve switched to using a Docker container format to improve accessibility. You can find the general tutorial here: https://github.com/hongweilibran/BraSyn_tutorial As you may have noticed, since we’ve released all modalities, we are not opening a leaderboard at this stage. This gives participants the opportunity to fine-tune their algorithms internally. We aim to be transparent and have provided code for segmentation and metric computation. We look forward to your submission! The CMT submission deadline is 28th July. Best regards, Hongwei (Bran)
