Dear BraTS 2025 Organizing Team, I have some questions regarding Task 8 (BraSyn). Since the short paper deadline is on 07/20, when will the validation phase for Task 8 start? After uploading a zip file, Task 8 is still absent from the list of all the available challenges. Moreover, are slight tweaks of the method allowed after the short paper submission? Dear BraTS team, This is Lina Chato, team name : USD-2025-Chato-Sereda, and Team ID: 3551654. We are contributing to BraTS 2025-task 8. I submitted my short paper to the BraTS-2025 task (missing MRI modality) today. I followed the instructions in the https://www.synapse.org/Synapse:syn64153130/wiki/632673 When I clicked on the "Link to CMT Submission System", the CMT system opened. I clicked on "create new submission", then I chose the BraTS2025: Synthesis option. I filled all the fields and uploaded the paper. One of the options was " challenge name", but I did not find task 8in the list (please see the image below), so I chose task 7 instead of task 8. I was thinking of not choosing anything as task 8 was not listed, but we would not be able to submit the short paper. Please could you confirm that my submission is correct, and it is considered for task 8 even when the option task 8 was not there. Also, please could you let me know if my submission is not correct! hi Omar @ocarpentiero, We’ve extended the short paper deadline to 28th July, and we look forward to your submission! We’ve also updated our tutorial (https://github.com/hongweilibran/BraSyn_tutorial/) to improve clarity. Since all modalities in the validation set have been released, we feel that a validation leaderboard might be redundant. However, we are now working on a segmentation leaderboard, as it would be interesting to compare segmentation metrics. Best regards, Hongwei (Bran)
