Hello everyone,
I'm a participant in this year's BraTS competition and am currently working on training deep learning models. However, I'm facing a financial hurdle as I don't have the resources to build a powerful local machine for intensive data processing and computation.
To maximize available resources and continue my work, I'm considering creating a private dataset on Kaggle by uploading the BraTS data. The sole purpose of this would be to utilize Kaggle's free GPU resources for my own model training and experimentation. This dataset would remain strictly private, not public or broadly shared with anyone.
I've carefully reviewed the competition's rules and terms, especially regarding data usage and the publication embargo. However, I'd like to clarify with the Organizing Committee (OC) or anyone with relevant experience whether this approach (creating a private dataset on Kaggle for personal, non-commercial GPU utilization) is permissible. I am fully committed to strictly adhering to all rules concerning data confidentiality, citation, and particularly the embargo on publishing overall results before the specified timeframe.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or clarification from the OC or the community to help me continue contributing effectively to the competition.
Thank you!

Firstly, I am sorry that I am replying to your question with a delay.
Of course, you can use the available computational resources from different domains, including Kaggle, to develop and train your models.
Let me know if you have any further questions,
Best regards,
/Mehdi
