studyAbstract: Supercentenarians (110+ years) often avoid age-related diseases well past 100, likely due to genetic factors. We sequenced genomes of two individuals aged >114, finding: variant profiles similar to typical genomes, absence of most known longevity variants, ~1% novel variants, and enrichment for new longevity-linked variants. These findings suggest both common and rare variants help maintain health in extreme old age.
