Hello BraTS organisers, I am running a non-commercial research study of brain-tumour segmentation. I would download the BraTS 2023 Adult Glioma training data (syn51514132, version 1) from Synapse under the post-challenge terms (CC BY-NC). To train on Kaggle's GPUs, I would place the images and labels of 1,001 of its training cases in a private Kaggle dataset in my own account: visible to no one else, with no collaborators, and never shared or published. The full archive would stay on my own computer. 1. Hosting: may I keep that private working copy on Kaggle, a third-party platform, under the post-challenge terms and Synapse's Terms of Service? 2. Retention: may I keep it for the duration of the study and delete it at the end? Are there any conditions on storage, security, retention or deletion that I should follow? 3. Label conversion: may the label files in that copy be converted to the BraTS 2021 convention (enhancing tumour labelled 4 instead of 3), with nothing else changed? 4. Source: does your answer cover files obtained from the official Synapse distribution (syn51514132, version 1)? Is that the right source for this use? 5. Attribution: are the attribution statement and the citations on the Data Access/Download page the complete acknowledgement you require? I won't download the archive or upload anything until I hear from you. Thank you.
