summary: We found interesting and unpublished relationships around chromosome 8q gain for melanoma and ovarian cancer. This is part of a set of at least five cancers known to be more deadly in NF1. We can extend our methods to explore the relationship of chromosome 8q gain for high-grade glioma, and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma.
