Hello! My name is Andrew. I am not a researcher affiliated with any university. I'm a young actor in Texas. I'm up for the role of a character who suffers from an early stage of tuberculosis. I've been scouring the Internet for resources on what a tuberculosis cough sounds like. But it's very hard data to find! When I found this data collection, I started signing up for Synapse. However, since I'm not affiliated with a university, I don't have anyone who can validate my status, thus helping me request access to this data. Is there anything I can do to hear some examples of what patients with this disease sound like when they cough?

Hi Andrew, Thank you for reaching out with your interest in the CODA TB DREAM Challenge data. Access to these data is controlled at the request of the data contributor(s) and due to the sensitive nature of the data. The terms for data access cannot be modified. You might consider contacting the data contributors, such as Dr. Adithya Cattamanchi or Dr. Simon Grandjean Lapierre, to ask whether they can suggest publicly available recordings or are willing to directly share a sample of their recordings with you. You can find the full list of data contributors on the CODA TB DREAM Challenge - Data and Benchmarking - syn31472953 - Wiki. I hope this is helpful to you. Kind regards, Jonathan Liaw-Gray on behalf of the Access and Compliance Team
