Hi, I'm doing some data analysis on the ROSMAP UPLC p180 brain data and I noticed that in the LOD data (syn10235613), there's only 1 row of LOD values. From my understanding, shouldn't there be 2 rows of LOD values, since there are 2 Plate Bar Codes for the UPLC analysis?
Created by Branden Lau bmlau Yes, you can apply the same UPLC LOD/2 value for each analyte on both plates. I see. So if I were to follow the recommendation of replacing missing values with LOD/2 values, can I simply apply the one row of LOD values to every sample in the UPLC data, regardless of plate information? Lisa St John-Williams provided an explanation. There is only one row of LOD values for the p180 UPLC data because the Biocrates-defined values are used for all plates in the study. For p180 FIA data, the LOD for every analyte is calculated for each plate and that's why FIA LODs have two rows, one for each plate. We will look into this and get back to you.
Edit: I have contacted @cblach15 for some insight into this.
