Hi, I'd love to load this dataset into my single browser portal http://cells.ucsc.edu, but as it is protected, I cannot do that.
You could you make available a minimal version of this dataset, as separate, public access synapse dataset, one that is certainly not identifiable and not protected.
This public dataset could contain:
- the expression matrix (gene expression data is not identifiable)
- a minimal list of any non-identifiable cell attributes, like cell type, maybe age in years or similar, very general attributes.
I'd of course link back to synapse and the paper, as with all other datasets, so when users are interested in more details, they can login to synapse and request full access.
thanks!

Created by max haeussler maximilianhaeussler Many thanks for your quick reply! My request is on its way now and it may go through. Fingers crossed. You will need to clear use of ROSMAP data in this manner with RADC. Please see here: https://www.radc.rush.edu/;jsessionid=8D1CD9FBE972335E0DD0494972E83B2A?_ga=2.101700937.951804570.1583943157-1525725369.1582906573. Best,
Mette OK, but this is single cell data, right? So if you share the gene counts per cell, that's not "per specimen", it's "per cell". Once the specimen information is removed from the meta data, this should be fine w/r to the Rush RADC... @maximilianhaeussler thanks for the direct link. We do not have permission to share ROSMAP related data at the individual specimen level, including summarized data such as counts. This is a requirement from the Rush RADC that we have to adhere to. I believe that this directory contains almost entirely sharable data https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn18681734 (though the meta data .tsv table may contain protected data, since I don't have access, it's hard to tell) Oops sorry, I'm very confused with the UI somehow, I mean this dataset: https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn18485175 The one shown at the top of the page of this discussion forum: syn2580853 Can you please post the synID for the dataset you are referring to.
