0% mitochondrial reads in neurotypical reference samples in syn61680896?

Hello, In syn61680896 (SEA-AD MTG snRNAseq) I find no cells with any mitochondrial reads. Are all cells with any mitochondrial reads removed from the neurotypical references? Or are all mitochondrial genes removed? Thanks,
