Hi, In the MSBB_biospecimen_metadata.csv file (syn21893059), the nucleicAcidSource column says that RNAseq assay is done using sorted nuclei for frontal pole RNAseq say. But the "Scientific Data" publication (PMID: 30204156) corresponding to this dataset says that total RNA was used for generating frontal pole RNAseq data. Can you please clarify what is the correct nucleic acid source (sorted nuclei RNA or total RNA) for the frontal pole RNAseq dataset? Thanks!

Hi Victor, Thank you for your response. It would be great if you could also forward the question to the data contributors. Best Regards!
Hi Ritwiz, Thank you for your inquiry. Per our notes regarding this study, the rows where assay = 'rnaSeq' and cellType != 'NA' are correctly labeled with a nucleicAcidSource value of 'sorted nuclei'. If you would like, I can forward your question to our data contributor for further explanation. Kind regards, Victor
