Hello,
I am wondering how we can find specific metadata for patients (e.g. race, gender, geographic location or zipcode of residence, etc). Is anyone available to help point me in the right direction? Thank you.
Created by Melise Edwards Melise9 Yes, where available, the ROSMAP donors have a value for "cogdx" in the clinical metadata file. That variable is available to AD Portal users who have a signed DUC and are able to download the metadata file. I can't speak to the Braak and CERAD scores that Rush uses, but their criteria are described in the accompanying clinical data dictionary (syn3191090), including references. If you need more information on the neuropathology scores I would recommend contact Rush directly. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Abby Hi @abby.vanderlinden , just checking in to see if "Cogdx" (defined here as the final clinical diagnosis) is something that is only available through requesting additional information from Rush? This seems like a critical piece of information that should be available with the rest of the data?
Key found here with Cogdx:

I'm also wondering why the Braak and Cerad scores are inconsistent with the scales used in the literature? Thank you so much Abby. This is extremely helpful. Hi there,
We have limited patient metadata for the ROSMAP study available in the ROSMAP clinical metadata file (syn3191087). This does include race and sex, but for any additional phenotype variables not in our clinical metadata file, you will need to submit a request through the [Rush Alzheimer?s Disease Center Research Resource Sharing Hub](https://www.radc.rush.edu/).
Additional information on how to find and use metadata in the AD Portal is available on the [AD Portal Help Site](https://help.adknowledgeportal.org/apd/About-Metadata.2241626149.html#AboutMetadata-Whatisthestructureofmetadata?).
