Jessica Lundin jlundin

Jessica has an extensive background working with large-scale multi-omics data including transcriptomic (gene expression) and epigenetic (methylation) data, and genetic variant (GWAS) data, across multiple consortia as a Molecular Epidemiologist in Statistical Genetics at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Her professional experience also includes 5+ years in academic research studying occupational exposures associated with neurodegenerative disease (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s) and cancer, and 10+ years applying statistical models to complex health outcome data including meta-analyses of multivariate mixed effects models. Jessica has a PhD in environmental health and toxicology, with an emphasis in multivariate statistics, and a Master degree in epidemiology. Additional training and career experiences include machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), data science, and statistical genetics. Most importantly, Jessica has a personal commitment to improve the health of individuals and communities using open, collaborative, and reproducible biomedical research and data-driven solutions.
