Dr. Xiaolin Sun's research interests mainly focus on novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers in rheumatic diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sjögren’s Syndrome, etc. He has over 100 publications in this field, and is working on the discovery of novel anti-rheumatic drugs and therapies.
Dr. Sun is now serving as a committee member for Beijing Society for Immunology and the editorial board of Progress of Microbiology & Immunology, reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was invited for the translation (partly) and translational editor board of the Chinese editions of Kelley’s Textbook of Rheumatology (the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th edition), the translation of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine Rheumatology (the 19th edition).
