Dr. Alia Lemkaddem graduated from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in 2008, Stockholm. During her time at KTH, she had the opportunity to join a signal processing lab at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. She finalized her master in electrical and electronic engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). She proceeded thereafter with research in the image processing field, where she obtained her PhD in March 2015 at the signal processing lab (LTS5) at EPFL. Her current work involves management of projects involving development of wearable devices for physiological monitoring.
