During my mathematics studies (2010 - 2017) at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT), I was always very fascinated by medical content as well. Since I also missed working with people, I decided to also study medicine (2017 - now) at Heidelberg University after completing my master's degree in mathematics. Since then, the interplay of these two worlds has excited me. I am currently in my practical year - the last year of medical school - and am also working on my PhD in topologically preserving image segmentation at the Technical University of Munich.
