Jose G. Fuentes was born in Iztapalapa,
Mexico City. He received his B.S degree in applied
mathematics and computer science from Universi-
dad Nacional Autónoma de México(UNAM) and
the M.S. degree in Data Science from Universidad
Anáhuac México in 2012 and 2015 respectively.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Engineering
Science at Universidad Iberoamericana México.
He has more than 13 years of industry experience
working on several decision management prob-
lems in finance, manufacturing, health care and retail. His research interests
include data mining, credit risk and statistical learning.
