I am a graduate student in the Computer Science Doctoral program at the University of Houston. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Houston-Downtown, where I received a BS in Data Science, with minors in Mathematics and Applied Statistics. I have done research in computational mathematics, specifically in respect to classical machine learning techniques (neural networks, pattern recognition, etc.) and numerical methods. My interests are in Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics and Statistics, and Machine Learning in healthcare.
