Graduated in Medicine from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), specialized in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the Pedro Ernesto University Hospital of the State University of Rio de Janeiro, where he served as a radiologist until January 2011. Worked as assistant professor of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the Faculty of Medicine of Universidade Severino Sombra, in Vassouras for 11 semesters. Was Head of the Radiology Service at the Piquet Carneiro Polyclinic at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Works as a radiologist at the Federal Hospital of Servidores, where he also acts as coordinator of the Medical Residency in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. He is a radiologist at Rede D´Or São Luiz, at Hospital Barra D´Or, where he is also a preceptor of the Medical Residency in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, and has worked as a radiologist at Hospital Copa D´Or. Is an assistant professor of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the Unigranrio Medical School, Barra da Tijuca campus. Was President of the Society of Radiology of Rio de Janeiro, former Brazilian Society of Radiology, from 2018 to 2020 and is its current President of the Advisory Board. Member of the Technical Chamber of Radiology of the Regional Council of Medicine of Rio de Janeiro. Is the current First Secretary of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, for the biennium 2021-2022. Was responsible for Sopterj's Diagnostic Imaging Committee for the 2010-2011 biennium. Is a full member of the Colégio Brasileiro de Radiologia, the Brazilian Society of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the European Society of Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society, being a member of the Scientific Committee of the latter. He has experience in the field of Medicine, with an emphasis on Medical Radiology, working mainly on the following subjects: Diagnostic Imaging, NeuroRadiology, CT, and MRI.
