After my medical school and residence on internal medicine, I went to Germany and did my doctoral thesis at Munich University. After obtaining my doctoral degree with honor from there, I did my Post-Doctoral Fellowship at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and subsequently worked there until 2006 before moving to Washington, DC for my job at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where I was working until 2020.
My integrated fields are in Basic, Clinical & Social Sciences, and Technowledge & Computer Sciences. I gave my problem pitches of 2 projects (#042: Multi-Disciplines; #043: Panomics) at Hackathon weekly check-in Zoom meeting on July 9th, 12 pm ET. and gave my practice pitches on these 2 projects and 2 additional projects (#044: Ignite; #045: Visionary) on July 17th (Room 2) 12 pm ET for the Hack 4 Rare 2021.
