Genet Shanko is a lecturer of the computing department in the school of Electrical Engineering and Computing at Adama Science and Technology University. She has taught a number of courses in Computer science and related disciplines for several years. She is a Ph.D. candidate at Addis Ababa University in the Information System Specialty in Ethiopia. Her research interest includes machine learning application on healthcare and gender-related problem, Artificial intelligence and data science adoption and technology transfer for health and learning application in a resource-constrained environment. Rather than her academic contribution, she had a great contribution in being as a member of NGOs and again she had a great experience as a board for Eight years for CDA (charity and Development Association).
