Dr. Knoedler is the Director of Team Innovation at Exaptive. She joined Exaptive after an 18-year career in academia guiding research and career development for faculty and researchers at all levels and across all disciplines. Dr. Knoedler has developed expertise in research development, research funding, and the science of team science, academic research and research leadership programs, research strategic planning, and institutional data analytics. Dr. Knoedler also specializes in analytics and program development supporting broadening participation of underrepresented groups in research-intensive settings. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology (Purdue University) and her research interests are now focused on the development of individuals’ skills and capacities that allow for generalization and translation as they collaborate across research domains.
