I am a Senior Bioinformatician at the PMCC-AI Lab (Wang Lab) at the University Health Network in Toronto, with a focus on PRS, data science, bioinformatics, and machine learning. Over the past five years, I have contributed to and co-led several NIH-funded research initiatives—including H3ABioNet, DS-I Africa, and MADCaP—during my tenure as an Associate Professor at the University of Mauritius (2018–2025). My research centers on computational cancer genomics and the application of large-scale data to advance precision medicine, particularly in African and global health contexts. I also serve as a Visiting Scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Harvard University), working under the mentorship of Prof. Timothy Rebbeck, in the area of cancer data science. I am deeply committed to promoting equitable genomic research, capacity building, and collaborative science through mentorship, research, and community outreach.
