Claire McCarthy is a Health Science Policy Analyst in the Division of Cancer Biology (DCB) of the National Cancer Institute (NCI). She manages a portfolio of grants in functional cancer genomics, as well as physical, chemical, and UV carcinogenesis. She also helps with some DCB activities related to outreach, planning, and evaluation.
Dr. McCarthy has a B.A. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Toxicology, as well as experience in writing about biomedical science.
